Delay in receiving SMS confirmation codes

Some users experienced a delay in receiving SMS confirmation codes on Sunday, November 3, between 8:45 - 10:55 am PST, due to the system experiencing a sudden influx of codes to deliver. Our engineers identified the delays were caused by a system threshold that was reached during the influx. We deployed a significant increase to this threshold Monday, November 4, mitigating the issue in the future.
